Underworld: Awakening Full Trailer Released

I’m extremely excited for the fourth installment of the Underworld series, set to be released January 20, 2012. To make the movie even more exciting, Kate Beckinsale is back in the lead role as Selene!! These movies are definitely worth watching if you like vampire/werewolf movies, if you get past the fact that they are fighting with modern weapons, which doesn’t always work so well for some movies, but I think they manage to pull it off in this series. I also think it’ll be interesting to see the characters in a much more “real” setting this time. Though they’ve always taken place in city settings (well the first two anyway), it’s going to be interesting to see the characters in a much more public view now that the vampires and lycans have been exposed. In Buffy season 9 (in comic book form) they took a more comical approach to the idea of the supernatural being exposed, but I don’t think that’s the route Underworld will take by any means!!
