Dean and Sam walk into a bank, Dean walks up to the counter, and gestures to Sam to lock the door, and then they both pull out guns and start shooting. They then put everyone into a vault and shoot them all.

Bobby is attempting to torture Chet, but nothing is working against him (salt, holy water, etc.). Sam and Dean come in, and Chet tells them that Edgar wasn’t killed when the car fell on him, and that he got all of his information on Sam and Dean (such as aliases) from the time the Leviathan spent possessing Cass. Chet then goes on to tell them to check the news to find out about the bank robbery “they” took part in, and that the Leviathan got their DNA from a motel shower drain. Bobby gives the guys an address to go to for a man named Frank Devello, if they plan to take on the Leviathan who have stolen their identities.
Sam and Dean get to a gas station, and the clerk goes in the back to call the cops, so they take off.
Two FBI agents arrive at another bank the next day, where “Sam and Dean” have hit. One of the agents get a text about Sam and Dean being at the gas station, but it’s over 1,000 miles away.
The guys arrive at the address Bobby gave them for Frank. The place is dark, and when the go inside Frank is sitting in a chair with a gun pointed at them.

Frank recognizes them from the news, and knows they have doppelgangers. He reluctantly decides to help them, and clearly isn’t in his right mind, he says it’s not magic, but the government has cloned them. He tells them they have to change their way of living, no more rock star aliases, only cash, and change their phones frequently. He tells them to pay $5,000 and also gives them new identities.
Bobby continues to try to hurt Chet, and manages to decapitate him.
Frank sends them on their way, and tells them to ditch their car since the doppelgangers are using the same kind.
Bobby gets a knock at his door, and it’s Sheriff Mills. She says she’s there to thank him for helping her, and offers to cook him dinner, and tells him to call her Jody.
Bobby goes back downstairs, and Chet’s head has rejoined his body, so Bobby chops it off again.
Sam and Dean are driving in their rented car, and Sam is looking at a map Frank gave them with the points the dopplegangers have hit…Sam then realizes that the dopplegangers are hitting the places that Sam and Dean have hunted in, and that they are doing it in the same order they did.
Doppleganger Sam and Dean are eating at a diner, and discussing the real Sam and Dean and how awful they are. They tell a kid to turn on his camera, and then hold up the diner.
—
Bobby calls Sam and Dean to fill them in on what happened on the diner, and about chopping the Leviathan’s head off.
At the diner the FBI agents who were at the last bank and received the text, arrive, and watch the video, in which “Dean” says they are hitting Ohio next.
Chet has now turned into Bobby.
Doppelganger Sam and Dean arrive in Ohio just as the real ones do. The cops arrive, but hold up the real Sam and Dean, and the others drive off.
Chet is going through Bobby’s memories, and just when Bobby is about to chop his head off, something drips down from the ceiling, and it begins to eat away at Chet’s skin, bones etc. He screams get it off…Bobby runs upstairs to see what was dripping down, and Jody is cleaning the floor so he asks her what’s in the bucket and kisses her…
Sam and Dean are taken to the precinct.
Doppelganger Sam and Dean also arrive. They go inside and change into cops, before killing one of the officers.
—
Dean begs the sheriff to let him make a phone call. He calls Bobby, and Bobby tells him about a chemical in industrial cleaners…anything with borax in it, because it burns the Leviathan, then cut off their heads and keep them separated, and it will kill them. He asks the sheriff to get the chemical, but he thinks Dean is nuts…then he happens to see the doppelgangers turn back into Sam and Dean. He goes back to Dean and lets him out, and the cop goes to get the products with borax in them.
Sam is handcuffed to a table in the interrogation room, and Dean’s doppelganger comes in. Sam’s doppelganger begins fighting with Dean.
Dean manages to hit the doppelganger with borax, and then chops his head off.
Dean’s doppelganger tells Sam that Dean killed Amy, just to see the look on his face. Dean then bursts in and kills his doppelganger. The sheriff tells them that he will say that the real Sam and Dean are dead now.
The sheriff, tells the FBI agents that have been trailing Sam and Dean that he had their bodies destroyed, and they leave satisfied.
Jody is heading out, and Bobby gives her a box, with the Leviathan’s head inside, and he tells her to toss it off a bridge. He then kisses her goodbye.
The agents who have been trailing Sam and Dean were actually a part of Leviathan, and they kill the sheriff and his daughter who works at the morgue. He then calls another man, to tell him that the Sam and Dean doppelgangers are missing their heads. The man tells him to come back to the FBI and come up with a new idea. The man then gets in a car, and Crowley is inside and introduces himself (the man’s name is Dick). Crowley tells Dick that he is the one who opened the door to Purgatory, but Dick insults Crowley and tells him that he will not work with such a low form of life, and if he had time he would wipe out all demons.
Sam confronts Dean about killing Amy, and tells him not to talk to him, and he takes off, and tells Dean to go on without him.
