The girls are talking about bridesmaids dresses for Howard and Bernadette’s wedding. Sheldon says that since Penny has come into their lives, their quality of conversation has decreased, causing the girls to leave to go to Penny’s apartment.

At work the guys are eating lunch, and Amy is sitting at their table, with a cooler with mad cow disease, and Howard asks the conversation to have a new topic. Sheldon then pulls out a deck of 100 alphabetized topics. Howard says that Bernadette keeps texting him pictures of Penny in bridesmaid dresses, and Amy gets jealous that they went shopping without her.
Leonard is playing a horse racing video game, and tells Sheldon it’s his turn, but Sheldon is more worried about the fact that he has tried every way he can think of to contact Amy, but she isn’t responding. Leonard suggests they go over and check on her.
They get to her apartment, and Amy is crying and playing the harp. Leonard knocks on her door for Sheldon, and leaves. Sheldon asks Amy if she wants to talk about what’s bothering her, and she tells him that she’s upset Bernadette and Penny went shopping without her. She tells him she’s craving intimacy, to which they have to come to a compromise on how far they will go, finally settling on cuddling.
Sheldon comes to work the next day and yells at Howard and Leonard for not having their women in line, causing him to have to snuggle with Amy and then he didn’t have time for science, and tells them to get the girls to apologize to Amy.
The group is eating dinner together minus Sheldon, and the guys tell the girls about Amy being upset. Bernadette and Penny say that Amy is getting carried away with being a bridesmaid, so they wanted to go once without her, but they’ll go to talk to her.
Amy is in the lab working on a brain, when Penny and Bernadette arrive to apologize and offer to have a girls night, but Amy said she just doesn’t fit in with them, and she’s used to it.
Sheldon gets a call, and it’s Amy who says she’s drunk in a liquor store parking lot.
Sheldon and Leonard arrive, and Amy says Penny taught her to drink wine when she’s sad. Leonard pulls her up and they leave.
At the lab, Bernadette and Penny come back again to apologize, and Bernadette asks Amy to be the maid of honor, and Amy gets extremely excited.

Thoughts:
A pretty Amy-centric episode, and I really enjoyed it…her character is hilarious, and it was great to see all her ranges of emotions in this episode!!
