A man and woman (Gilda and Rocky) sneak into a fancy house in the woods, and pretend they are the rich owners. They run up to the bedroom to fool around, when a car pulls up so they try to sneak out through the window. Gilda gets outside but Rocky gets snatch back inside and screams, then something snarling begins chasing after Gilda. She gets in the car and takes off…
Nick is at the hospital, and the doctors found a few toxins in his blood, from what the blonde injected him with at the end of the last episode. The nurse tells Nick he can’t visit Marie for the time being, because they have to run tests and they don’t want her to slip back into a coma. Hank, Nick and Captain Renard head back to the precinct to look at the security tapes.
They find the woman on the tapes, but they can’t see her face, so the tapes don’t do them any good. Another officer comes in to tell them about the man and woman that were attacked at the house. Hank and Nick go to talk to Gilda…
She takes them back to the cabin, and they talk to the owners. Nick sees scratches on the wall near the window. Hank is looking at the artifacts that the owner has, and there is a bear-claw-like artifact, that Nick looks at for a long time. They leave the house, with no sign of Rocky.
In a cave, Rocky is tied up and blind folded and something claws at his face and smells him as he screams.

Sgt. Wu calls Hank out from the room he and Nick are questioning Gilda in.
Wu tells them that no one has heard from Rocky. Marie calls Nick and tells him she needs to see him.
He gets to the hospital, and she tells him he has to hunt down “the bad ones” as his ancestors did. She also tells him that the Reapers, a secret society that hunt down Grimms, have followed her and there could be more on the way. She tells him that there are more Grimms, but she’s not in contact with any of them, and the Reapers don’t know about her trailer, so he has to keep it secret.
Hank and Nick head back to the woods, when a group of three bikers cut in front of them. They follow them back to the house, one of the guys is the son of the owners of the house, Barry. They show the Rabes the pictures of Rocky and Gilda, and Nick sees Barry’s face turns into a bear-like face. The Rabes aren’t too happy about being questioned on Rocky’s whereabouts and all of them go back inside.
The blonde haired woman, Adalind, talks with Renard and he tells her Marie is awake, and to get humans to attack Marie and he’ll take care of the guards watching her.
Nick does some research on the totems the Rabes have outside of their home.
Barry and his two friends are walking though the woods with torches, where they dump a fake body down a hole with wooden spikes.
Nick is in Marie’s trailer, when she shows up, and looks at the picutre of the totem he is drawing. She offers him a knife and stabs it in his hand…he wakes up from the dream and Juliette talks to him about it and heads off to work.
Nick goes into the trailer, and looks in the weapons cabinet, and he finds a bear claw similar to the one he saw at the Rabe house.

Nick goes over to see Eddie, and shows him the bear claw artifact. Eddie tells him that jagerbars use them for disemboweling, and for the jagerbar version of a bar mitzvah.
Nick goes back to the hospital, and Marie tells him they will do their ritual at sunset.
Menard tells Nick he had to pull the guards at the hospital because it doens’t appear there will be another attack and it can’t look like police families are getting unfair treatment.
Nick calls Eddie and asks him to stand guard for Marie, which Eddie’s not too happy about.
Hank calls Eddie to tell him that Gilda took a gun to the Rabes house and said she would kill them if they don’t release Rocky.
Gilda arrives and attempts to attack the Rabes, when Barry tackles her, and Ms. Rabe tells him good job for hunting two instead of one, and she kicks Gilda in the face.
Mr. Rabe arrives home, and Nick and Hank arrive after to tell them Gilda is on her way. Hank goes to check the road, and Nick tells them that he knows what they are, and they know who he is. Mr. Rabe is convinced by Nick that the ritual hunt is a bad idea, but Ms. Rabe doesn’t care, so she goes inside, and Mr. Rabe helps NIck to track the guys down, as long as Nick agrees not to hurt them.
Hank calls for back-up, and he notices a path, and finds Gilda’s truck.
The guys begin the hunting ritual and preparing Rocky who is still alive as Gilda begs them to let them go.
Eddie tells Marie he should avenge his grandfather, and Marie tells him to take his best shot, when Eddie notices someone suspicious walk by the room.
Eddie follows the guy and there are two of them that ambush him, but he takes them out, ripping off one of the man’s arms.
Nick and Mr. Rabe arive at the cave the boys are in, but he says it’s too late. He turns into his jagerbar face and chases after them, after smelling their clothes.

They find the boys, Gilda and Rocky, and Mr. Rabe tells them it’s over, but Mrs. Rabe comes at them, and she falls down the hole with the wooden spikes in it.
She tells them they need to respect their ancestors, but Mr. Rabe said not like that.
Eddie calls Nick and tells him what happened at the hospital, and says he needs to get out of their because things got out of hand, but tells Nick he needs to come back right away.
A man dressed like a priest tries to take Marie out, but Marie manages to take him out, just before Nick arrives. He catches her, and she tells him to remember who he is and trust his instincts, and then dies in his arms.
Nick and Juliette go to visit Marie’s grave, and someone watches them from a distance.
