Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Robocop Reboot

teenage_mutant_ninja_turtles_rebootEveryone’s favorite heroes in a half shell are heading back to the big screen. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is getting set for a live action reboot, and Wrath of the Titans director, Jonathan Liebesman, is in negotiations to direct this movie as well. Variety.com says that Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing for Platinum Dunes, and Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec have already penned the script for the update.

Want a TMNT fix right now? Nickelodeon is developing a new CGI cartoon with Jason Biggs, Greg Cipes, Sean Astin and Rob Paulsen as the voice actors for the turtles, and IDW is currently publishing new stories in comic book form.

Also getting a reboot is the series Robocop. Rumors have been floating that Russell Crowe or Michael Fassbender could get the role of Robocop himself, but it is now being said that The Killing star Joel Kinnaman is in talks to take the role, with Jose Padilha as director of the movie.
