Bones Renewed For Season 8, Two and A Half Men and More

bones_renewed_eighth_seasonIt has officially been announced that the Fox drama Bones starring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, has been picked up for an eighth season. The show has been on hiatus for several months now, but will be returning with seven new episodes in a row starting this coming Monday, April 2nd. With the return of the show will come the addition of the Booth/Bones baby girl being born.

So are you excited to hear that Bones will be getting another season, or has the show run it’s course? The series will be doing what is often considered a bad decision for shows…adding a baby to the cast.

two_and_a_half_menWhether or not Two and a Half Men will be renewed or not for a tenth season still remains up in the air. is reporting that “CBS and Warner Bros. Television have reportedly offered a deal to Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer to return for two more seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The offers, however, do not include raises to top what the stars are currently earning.” Reportedly both Cryer and Kutcher make around $700,000 per episode, but Kutcher is holding out for $1 million per episode. Again I ask is the show worth keeping around? Many say it’s not as good without Charlie Sheen, however many also love the addition of Kutcher.

NBC has renewed the musical drama Smash for a second season. The series premiered in February and is sometimes referred to as the more mature version of Glee. posted earlier that, Terra Nova may actually in fact be extinct seeing how, “negotiations between the show’s producer, 20th Century Fox Television, and Netflix have stalled, with the two sides unable to come to a deal to extend the series…Although the studio is not yet releasing the actors from their contracts, there is little hope of finding another viable suitor to pick up the dino-drama, which was canceled by Fox earlier this month.”
