NBC has cast their Hannibal Lecter for the upcoming series Hannibal. The role made famous by Sir Anthony Hopkins will now be played by Mads Mikkelsen who played the villian in Bond movie Casino Royale. He has also just been cast as the villian in Thor 2.
The other leading role of FBI profiler, Will Graham, will be played by Hugh Dancy. Graham works with psychiatrist Dr. Lecter, who is not aware of Lecter’s dark secret. The series has been picked up for 13 episodes, based on the Red Dragon novel and is being produced by Bryan Fuller. For more information, click here.
