Deadline.com is reporting that Sony Pictures is planning to finally shoot the much anticipated, long-rumored Ghostbusters 3. The movie is expected to begin filming in the Summer of 2013. Ivan Reitman is set to direct the film, that will essentially reboot the series, as the Ghostbusters hand over their ghostbusting gear to a new generation.
The movie will be going forward despite Bill Murray not wanting to be in the film.
Another movie we will be seeing a third of is Iron Man. The film which is the first part of Phase 2 of the Marvel movie series, and final in the Iron Man films had a synopsis released today for the film.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvelís iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of Tales of Suspense (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man (#1) in May of 1968.
Iron Man 3 is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studiosí President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis DíEsposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film releases May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The first trailer for Iron Man 3 is set for release on Oct. 23rd, and if the Facebook page receives enough likes, a sneak peek will be released as well. The movie is set for release on May 3, 2013.
The L.A. Times is reporting that Warner Bros “is expected to accelerate development of a planned “Justice League” movie that would join Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and other characters, according to a knowledgeable person not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
Warner hopes to shoot the film next year and release it in the summer of 2015. The studio already has a “Justice League” script in the works. Next it needs to attach a director and then cast the lead roles.”
It is unknown at this point if the film will connect to previous DC Comics films including the upcoming Man of Steel, if the characters will spin-off into new series from the movie, or if the movie will be completely stand alone.
